Toshiba Releases New HD Camcorder

Japanese gadget giant Toshiba will release the Toshiba Camileo SX900 camcorder in July 2010. This mega zoom camcorder supports Full HD 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. The new Camileo SX900 also provides an HDMI port, so you can connect it to your HDTV to enjoy your favorite videos. Other features include a 2.7-inch fold out LCD display, a 9x optical zoom and support SDXC memory card format. Additionally, the Toshiba Camileo SX900 can also capture still images with its 14-megapixel CMOS sensor.

Sharp To Drop A New Linux-Based Tablet

Sharp is set to drop their newest Linux-based tablet for the Japanese market. Known as the NetWalker PC-T1, the device boasts a 5-inch WSVGA touchscreen display, an 800MHz Freescale i.MX515 processor, an 8GB of hard drive, a 512MB RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi and runs on Ubuntu Linux OS. Garmin International today introduced the nüvi 3700 series of GPS device, which consists of the 3790T, 3760T and 3750. All models feature a 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that lets you to see preloaded maps and intuitive menus in landscape or portrait modes – ideal for use in the car or on foot. The capacitive multi-touch display allows you to pinch the screen to zoom in. Double tapping on the screen can also be done to choose where you want to zoom in to. Canon today released the FS-CF and FS-CF Pro portable Compact Flash DTE recorders that are specially made for use with Canon’s HDVi camcorders and mini-DVi camcorders. These gadgets allows you to record your HD videos to Type-1 Compact Flash (CF) solid-state media. Once the video footage has been recorded, you can either connect the FS-CF recorders into your Mac or PC via a USB 2.0 port or directly insert the CF card into a card reader.
