Inventec comes back with their latest mobile internet device namely the Inventec Dr Eye. This Android-powered MID features a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, a 600MHz Marvell 624 processor, a QWERTY keyboard and Android 1.6 OS (Upgradable to Android 2.1). Other specifications include an integrated Wi-Fi, 3G and a webcam. The Inventec Dr Eye Android-powered MID retails for approx. $400.

Samsung introduced in Germany the NX5 digital camera that is the little brother of the AMOLED-equipped NX10. The NX5 comes with a 3-inch LCD screen instead of AMOLED. It still packs a 14.6 Megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor, an electronic viewfinder, lens-shift image stabilization, Supersonic type dust reduction and Samsung’s NX mount.

The NX5 is capable of 720p HD video recording. It offers ISO 100-3200. The Samsung NX5 will be available in June for Euro 699.

 Iomega eGo BlackBelt Mac Edition Portable Hard Drive

Iomega updates its eGo BlackBelt family by introducing the 1TB eGo BlackBelt Mac edition portable hard drive that provides two FireWire 800 and one USB 2.0 connectors. The drive is backward compatible with FireWire 400 ports. It includes Iomega’s Drop Guard Xtreme, utilizing the Iomega Power Grip band, which helps protect the BlackBelt eGo drive from accidental drops of up to seven feet.

Herokin Unveils A New Android Tablet

 

Here’s a look at another upcoming Android tablet from a Chinese-based company Herokin, the H700. Measuring 190.5mm x 118.5mm x 14.7mm and weighing 332g, the device boasts a 7-inch touchscreen display, a 600MHz processor, a Rockchip RK2808 chipset, a 128MB RAM, 720p HD video playback support, WiFi and runs on Android 1.5 OS. Pricing and release date are still unknown at the moment.
