Samsung introduces in Korea the new Wave 723 (model GT-S7230E) smartphone based on the company’s own bada platform. This mainstream Wave features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5 Megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS support and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity.

The Wave 723 is just 11.8mm thick and comes with a metallic back cover. It offers easy and direct access to the Samsung Apps store as well as social networking sites. The phone can handle playback of MPEG, H.263/H.264, DivX and XviD video files. It supports microSD memory card, in addition to 90MB internal memory.[press]

Samsung has introduced several new products at IFA 2010 including the 65-inch 8000 series Full HD 3D LED TV, the SP-A8000 3D-capable video projector, the HT-C9950W stainless steel 3D 7.1-channel home theater system, and the BD-C8900 3D BD player/recorder. The Samsung 8000 series features the company latest wave of widgets, DLNA support and Samsung AllShare, while the Samsung BD-C8900 3D BD player/recorder comes with a 500GB of internal hard disk drive. Samsung releases in Germany the Power Pack EBB-U10 for the Galaxy S i9000. The Power Pack is basicallt an external battery that attaches to the back of the phone, offering additional 8.5 hours of talk time and 500 hours of talk time.[engadget]

Samsung has rolled out three new portable Blu-ray players namely the BD-C7900, C6800 and C5900. The Samsung C7900 sports dual HDMI outputs and can offer extra Internet-related features such as Blockbuster, Netflix and Pandora. The Samsung C6800 only features one HDMI output, while the C5900 is the entry-level device. The Samsung C7900, C6800 and C5900 are priced at $400, $280, and $230, respectively. In addition, the company has also announced the availability of their first portable 3D Blu-ray player. Known as the Samsung BD-C8000, the gadget is capable of offering 3D movies when attached through an HDMI output. AT&T is launching two new Samsung quick messaging mobile phones, the Eternity II (SGH-a597) and the Flight II (SGH-A927), both offer users a suite of messaging options at a great value, replacing theoriginal Eternity and Flight.

The Samsung Eternity II is a touchscreen phone with support fot AT&T Mobile TV allowing users to enjoy around-the-clock access to full-length live, simulcast and time-shifted programming from FLO TV. It has a 3-inch touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera with videorecording, Bluetooth 2.1, Enhanced GPS functionality such as fitness tracking, Smart Gesture and a microSD card slot. Samsung introduces in Korea the new Nori SHW-A220 touchscreen phone that allows customization. Designed for girls, users can personalize the phone with eight unique characters front plates.

The Nori features a 3-inch 240×400 touchscreen display, a 3.2 Megapixel main camera, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video call, integrated T-DMB tuner, GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. It also offers a microSD card slot.

While iPhone gets the iPod touch sibling, Samsung is launching the Yepp YP-MB2 Android portable media player joining the Galaxy S. As you can see above, Samsung just take away the Galaxy S’ phone function and make it the YP-MB2. It also looks like the iPod touch and the original iPhone (2G).

The Samsung YP-MB2 is powered by 1GHz Hummingbird processor and runs Android 2.1. It comes with a 4-inch AMOLED touchscreen and supports GPS and WiFi. As a PMP, it supports DivX, XviD, OGG and FLAC files in addition to common media files.
