Compaq releases the Presario CQ62Z notebook PC for everyday computing at a budget-friendly price starting at $379.99. Boosted by AMD’s processor up to Phenom II N830 triple-core 2.1GHz CPU, the Presario CQ62Z has up to 4GB of RAM, either Mobility Radeon HD4250 or Radeon HD545v graphics card.

This new Presario notebook packs up to 500GB hard drive and a 8X DVD SuperMulti burner or optional Blu-ray drive, as well as an optional 5-in-1 media card reader. The CQ62Z comes with a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display and offers HDMI output. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth.[compaq]

MSI introduces during the Computex 2010 its F-series stylish notebook PCs that come with a stylish and fashionable exterirors and multimedia capabilities. Five models are announced, the FX400, FX600, FX610, FX700, and FR600 that come in 14-inch to 17-inch screen sizes.

MSI’s FX400, FX600, FX700 and FR600 are powered by Intel’s Core i5 series processor while the FX610 will get AMD’s CPU. Some models will be equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GR325M dedicated graphics card with 1GB of memory. BenQ launches the new addition to its Joybook range, the Joybook R48 multimedia notebook based on Core i3 processor. The 14-inch R48 sports an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5450 graphics card, up to 4GB of memory and up to 500GB hard drive.

HP introduces two new designs, preppy pink and white crystal for its Mini 210 netbook. The former HP Imprint 3-D, the industry’s first 3-D PC surface technology, which debuted on the HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje.

Also updated is the HP Mini 110 that comes with an integrated six-cell battery that provides up to eight hours of battery life.

 

Lenovo showed at an event in Beijing China its new IdeaPad Z460 notebook PC. The 14-inch laptop sports an Intel Core i3 2.13GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, ATI Radeon HD5145 graphics and a 320GB hard drive. It supports WiFi and features chiclet keyboard.

Toshiba introduces in the UK three new Satellite notebooks, the L670, L650 and C650. These affordable yet stylish notebook are based on Intel’s new Core platform. The L670 and L650 comes with a slimline design with a slick gloss black finish while the Satellite C650 has a textured matt finish.

The L670 and L650 are powered by Intel’s Core i5 or i3 processor (AMD options available), up to 4GB of RAM, and up to ATI Mobility Radeon HD5145 graphics card with 512MB video RAM. The C650, on the other hand, sports Core i3 or Pentium processor, up to 4GB of memory and integrated Intel HD or ATI graphics. All three models have up to 500GB storage capacity and a DVD SuperMulti burner.

Toshiba introduces a new stylish multimedia laptop PC, the Satellite A660 powered by Intel’s Core i3/i5/i7 processors. The A660 features the Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) technology, like the Satellite E205, allowing users to wirelessly stream videos and music from the laptop to a wireless display-enabled TV set, using a Wi-Fi connection.

The Satellite A660 sports up to 8GB of RAM, NVIDIA dedicated graphics with 1GB or 512MB RAM, a Blu-ray or DVD SuperMulti optical drive, up to 640GB hard drive, a 5-in-1 card reader and one eSATA/USB combo port.  It supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n and has a HD webcam. The A660 comes with a 16-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display and offers HDMI output.

The Toshiba Satellite A660 includes also USB Sleep-and-Music – a new feature that enables users to play music from a connected MP3 player through the laptop’s integrated Harman Kardon speakers when the laptop is in Sleep or Stand By mode. The notebook will be released in June.

ASUS today rolled out the G73JH-X1 17.3-inch gaming laptop in the US market via Newegg. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 720QM quad core processor with a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics, an 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, an 8-cell battery and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OS. HP launches the affordable G62t series notebook PC that gets the latest Intel Core series processors. The 15.6-inch laptop features up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB hard drive and integrated HD graphics. The base model is equipped with Intel Core i3-330M processor, upgradable to Core i5 and even Core i7 processors.

HP G62t comes with a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit display, a 8X DVD SuperMulti burner or Blu-ray drive, 5-in-1 card reader, HDMI port, built-in Altec Lansing speakers and optional webcam. It supports WiFi and optional Bluetooth connectivity.
