Here’s another upcoming e-Book reader from a Chinese-based company Hanvon, the E800. Powered by an ARM Cortex A-8 processor, the device is packed with an 8-inch 1024 x 768 E-ink touchscreen display, a 128MB RAM, a 512MB ROM, a microSD card slot (4GB card included), a mini-USB port, a 3.5mm headset jack, dual-channel speakers, WiFi and runs on Windows CE OS. Looks like Huawei is entering the e-book reader market as its first e-book reading device has been spotted in the FCC database. Known as T62W, the reader has a 6-inch e-ink touchscreen. It includes WiFi and 3G connectivity and has a microSD/SDHC card slot.[slashgear]

Asustek Computer will release a new e-book reader with an 8-inch 64-grayscale TFT-LCD screen without backlight in October 2010. The LCD panel of Asustek’s e-book reader is provided by Chimei Innolux (CMI), which makes it with a special process to improve reflection. The display also supports a fast response time. The Netronix PocketBook 602 e-book reader has been approved by the FCC, so this eReader will be available in the US market very soon. The gadget features a 6-inch e-Ink display with a 532MHz Freescale ARM11 processor, an optional Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G/3.5G wireless data and a customized Linux OS. Acer has recently showed off their first e-Book reader namely the LumiRead. The device sports a 6-inch E-Ink display, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2GB of internal flash storage, a microSD card slot, WiFi, 3G and comes with a built-in ISBN scanner that allows you to create your own wish lists or search for a certain book online.
