Olympus’ New Prosumer Camera With 30x Wide Optical Zoom

Olympus has unveiled their latest prosumer camera with mega zoom. Known as the Olympus SP-800UZ, the digicam aims to bring dSLR performance in a consumer level digital camera, where this 14-megapixel shooter features a superb 30x wide optical zoom with a 28-840mm focal length. Using this camera, you can also record HD videos. The SP-800UZ has a 2GB of internal memory, a 3-inch LCD display, a built-in Dual Image Stabilization and a high-speed shooting at up to 10fps. Available in Titanium Silver, the Olympus SP-800UZ will be released in March 2010 for £369.99 ($590).

FinePix real 3D camera

Here comes the FinePix Real 3D camera, which allows you to view the pictures you’ve taken in 3D. The Fujifilm FinePix 3D camera comes included with an 8-inch 3D LCD viewer, which you can use to view those pictures either in 2D and 3D modes.
The camera itself features a 2.8-inch display, a 10.0 megapixel sensor, with built-in memory of 42MB and SD card slot for expansion. The video clip below suggests that you can only view those pictures in 3D mode on the included 8-inch 3D viewer. More of this gadget »
The tiny camera-SQ28m

I’m not certain whether this SQ28m made by Japanese camera maker Exemode is the world’s smallest digital camera, but its tiny size of 53mm x 23mm x 19mm makes it small enough for a keychain.
The SQ28m has 64MB of internal SDRAM, as well as the option of a 2GB microSD slot. You can shoot JPEGs with a 1/2.7 inch 1.95 Megapixel CMOS sensor, and you can even shoot JPEG or AVI video in 320 x 240 resolution at eight frames per second.
It should hit Japanese stores on December 12th at a price of $70.

All the way from Asia comes a new 3-in-1 device made by Yinlips and codenamed YDPG65, which combines 3 functions – camera + portable media player + gaming – in 1 device.
The Yinlips YDPG65 boasts a 3.5-inch screen with QVGA resolution. In terms of audio files, it can playback MP3, WMA, APE and FLAC lossless, and as for the video it supports MP4, RM, RMVB and also FLV – all at 30frames-per-second with 720p resolution. Other features in this multitask device include a slot for microSD memory cards, an eBook reader, FM radio, a 5-megapixel camera, and lastly, video out + being able to record videos.
In the games department, it supports NES and GB games among others.

Designer Matty Martin has created this Punch camera that creates “photos” by punching holes of different sizes. The camara is able to take photos and it has a LCD display for previewing images. We’re not expecting the BlackBerry Onyx to hit before November, but at least a few units have hit the wild, and these are the first in-depth photos we’ve seen. These shots don’t reveal much about the new-look Bold with the optical trackball, but it sure is pretty, ain’t it? Now if it only had a useful browser and IMAP support, we’d actually care.
